HSET Coordinator - West Coast Region
The Company has the requirement for a person to undertake the role of HSET Coordinator for the West Coast Region based in our Perth Office.

The primary objectives of this role are to maintain and coordinate effective safety, environmental and training systems for the West Coast Region.

A Summary of the key functions for the position includes:
• Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure daily job start meetings are held and documented in all operations in the region
• Ensure weekly toolbox meetings are being held and toolbox topics are provided to all sites and operations. Attend job start talks and toolbox meetings on a regular basis.
• Ensure risk analysis are done in compliance with CR expectations
• Ensure everyone in the region is trained in risk assessment processes and controls
• Ensure all managers and leaders in the region are trained to an appropriate level of safety and environmental management (as per training matrix)
• Ensure that the CR incident management systems are implemented
• Ensure that effective rehabilitation plans are implemented and communication with HR Department is maintained – facilitate the RTW of an injured worker in accordance with their RTW Plan
• Ensure all CR incident investigations are completed on time and correctly
• Participate in HSE management for shut downs and projects
• Ensure a training matrix is in place and contains all people residing and working in the region – complete needs analysis and ensure the training matrix and database is up to date and accurate
• Organise training for all people in the region as per requirements and within budget parameters
• Report on safety initiatives and incidents – inform Regional Manager of high risk issues that have the potential to compromise Safety and the environment
• Attend client HAZOP and HAZID meetings and conduct presentations when required.
• Actively participate on the development and implementation of technical standards and procedures
• Report on Regional activity on a monthly basis
• Conduct regular audits of regional activities and implement corrective actions to meet
